Kenny Omega has been working a busy schedule in recent months as The Belt Collector and it looks to be taking a toll on his body.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Omega is "hurting pretty badly" at the moment. The Best Bout Machine sliced his hand at Double Or Nothing after hitting PAC with the AEW World Championship and he required seven stitches. He also has a deep bone bruise close to his tailbone and an athletic hernia alongside the usual wear and tear on his knees.

On top of all of that, Omega has also been ill this week with a stomach virus.

With all of his problems, Omega admitted during the AEW Double Or Nothing Fan Fest that he wakes up sometimes and thinks retirement isn't too far away.

"I'm not gonna lie, it's been getting difficult. I've got a number of issues with me physically and sometimes I wake up and I think, 'Man, I think it's almost time to hang it up.' This is actually the first time I've kind of had to step out in public and say this. Because these are things that in my one day off-two days off, even if I do nothing, if I just rest, they're not going away they're just getting worse," he stated.

The Best Bout Machine did add, however, that wrestling in front of fans makes his injuries feel better.
