Report: AEW Not Planning To Pull Jeff Jarrett From TV

Good news on Jeff Jarrett!

Jeff Jarrett is scheduled to be in action on the June 21 episode of AEW Dynamite when he goes one-on-one with Mark Briscoe in a Concession Stand Brawl.

A stipulation looked to have been suddenly added to the match as Jarrett stated in a promo on AEW's 'Road to Chicago' YouTube video that fans would never see him again in AEW if he lost to Mark Briscoe on Dynamite.

"If I don't pin your shoulders to the mat, 1-2-3, it's the last time you'll ever see me in AEW. I'm done, I'm finished with your ass. See you Wednesday," Jarrett said.

Jarrett's promo has since been pulled from the 'Road to Chicago' video, however, and it appears the stipulation was never meant to be part of the Concession Stand Brawl. PWInsider has reported that Jarrett leaving AEW if he loses "is not the direction or stipulation tonight" and there were never plans for that to be the stipulation. Jarrett ultimately cut several different promos while he was spitballing for the video and the incorrect one ended up airing.

With no stipulation, Jeff Jarrett looks set to remain on AEW TV for the foreseeable future as part of his faction with Karen Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, and Sonjay Dutt. Jarrett has been a part of AEW since November 2022. Beyond his in-ring role, he is the AEW Director of Business Development.
