Report: AEW's FTR To Have New Manager In AAA

New manager!

While Tully Blanchard has been managing FTR in All Elite Wrestling for over a year, the WWE Hall Of Famer reportedly won't be in Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood's corner when they head to Mexico for AAA's November 4 tapings.

According to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, Vickie Guerrero will manage the AAA World Tag Team Champions in the Mexican promotion instead.

"They're gonna be going on the November 4 AAA tapings, and an interesting note is that Tully Blanchard will not be going, and their manager will be Vickie Guerrero. So she will be their manager in AAA," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

Vickie Guerrero has been working in All Elite Wrestling since July 2020 when she returned to professional wrestling as Nyla Rose's manager. The former WWE general manager also briefly managed Andrade El Idolo following his debut earlier this year but she was quickly ditched for Chavo Guerrero.

While FTR have yet to appear in AAA, they are the reigning AAA World Tag Team Champions, having defeated The Lucha Brothers for the gold on the October 16 edition of Dynamite. Wheeler and Harwood will face Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo again, this time for the AEW World Tag Team Title, at Full Gear on November 13.
