Kenny Omega has undergone treatment to assist his recovery from multiple injuries.

It was noted following Double Or Nothing that Omega was dealing with multiple injuries and was "hurting pretty badly" to the point that AEW was only booking The Best Bout Machine in important matches. Omega also admitted he was so banged up that he sometimes woke up and considered retirement.

The Best Bout Machine is feeling "a lot better" now, though, following a stem cell treatment and platelet-rich plasma therapy, according to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer. Omega said the treatment "wasn't night and day" but he thought "it made a world of difference."

Omega has only wrestled once since Double Or Nothing in an AEW World Title defence against Jungle Boy. He has appeared in an IMPACT Wrestling ring since the AEW pay-per-view, but those matches were taped before May 30.

Stem cell treatment has become common amongst professional wrestlers looking to prolong or revive their careers in recent years. The likes of Edge, Sheamus, Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam have all underwent the treatment in the past.
