Report: AEW's PPVs Moving To MAX Streaming Service In 2025

AEW's PPVs will have a new home very soon

The future of AEW’s programming has still not yet been officially revealed, though rumours and reports have made it all but confirmed that the promotion is sticking with Warner Bros. Discovery, keeping both Dynamite and Collision on TBS and TNT. There has also been a lot of chatter about a potential new show called Shockwave, which may be set to be shown on FOX's FS1.

When it comes to AEW’s PPVs, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast has reported that the promotion’s major events are heading to the MAX streaming service, and that this may come as soon as January 2025, if not before. Additionally, he confirmed that AEW Rampage could in fact be cancelled after reports of such this week, and that the new deal is very close to being announced.

“They will be on MAX in January. They could do it sooner but I do know that they are planning on January. I do know that pay-per-views are going to be on there. They don’t have an exclusivity on the pay-per-views, so it will also be available other places. It’s like WWE is, you can still order those pay-per-views that are available on Peacock.”

Tony Khan has remained coy about AEW’s future, but has hinted heavily numerous times that he expects AEW to remain on TNT and TBS for a long time. When it comes to PPVs, the move to MAX is not exclusive, meaning fans will be able to access and purchase events on other platforms, like they do currently.
