Rumour Killer On Reports Of The Lucha Brothers Signing With WWE

The Lucha Bros are reportedly NOT signed to WWE... yet

It was reported over the last couple of days that Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo of the Lucha Brothers had signed with WWE, per both PW Nexus and WrestleVotes Radio, though there have been conflicting reports on their current status throughout the weekend. Fightful Select have reported that The Lucha Bros are in fact not signed with WWE, per sources. It is believed that Fenix is still under contract with AEW, though AEW sources have not revealed whether or not this is in the case.

PWInsider have reported that both members of the tag team are still under contract with AEW, with there being “no way they could have legally signed with WWE” at this stage in time. The expectation is that they will end up in WWE, they are still with AEW, and they have reportedly been in conversation with the company and are still available to compete when or if necessary.

It hasn’t been reported when their deals are expected to be up with AEW, but based on these reports, don't expect them to debut in WWE any time soon.
