Following the launch of AEW Collision, All Elite Wrestling initially put tickets on sale for their tapings from June 24 until July 22 but it emerged earlier this week that the promotion were struggling to fill out arenas for the shows.

The situation hasn't greatly improved since the start of the week and Dave Meltzer has provided updated ticket sale numbers in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Although running live events on Saturday nights is considered an advantage, the June 24 taping of Collision in Toronto had only sold 1683 tickets at the time of publication which Meltzer called "scary bad" since Forbidden Door on June 25 in the same arena quickly sold out. The Thursday, June 29 taping of Collision in Hamilton, Ontario has only sold 646 tickets, while the July 8 event in Regina, Saskatchewan has only moved 1,305 tickets.

The Collision taping at Calgary's Saddledome on July 15 has sold 3,327 tickets, while the July 22 event in Newark, New Jersey has shifted 3,731 tickets.

There is no word on why the promotion have struggled to move tickets. Announced as headliners for Collision so far are Miro, Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs, Thunder Rosa, and Andrade El Idolo, Scorpio Sky also looks set to be featured on the Saturday night show, while CM Punk is planned to make his AEW return on the debut episode of Collision from the United Center in Chicago on June 17.
