Report: AEW To Hold UK Stadium Show In 2022

AEW are heading to the UK

All Elite Wrestling will head to the United Kingdom for a stadium show next year, according to a new report.

The promotion originally planned to hold Fyter Fest 2020 in London but those plans were ultimately scrapped because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

AEW are planning to hold their first show in the UK next year, though.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW plan to hold a stadium show at Fulham Football Club's Craven Cottage in 2022.

For the avoidance of doubt, Meltzer wrote: "COVID permitting, AEW is going to be running a stadium show in London at Craven Cottage next year."

Outside of his AEW duties, Tony Khan is the vice chairman and director of football operations at Fulham FC.

Speaking ahead of the All Out pay-per-view, Khan noted he still wants to run a show in England at Craven Cottage, but he couldn't announce exact dates.
