Report: AEW Will Resume Dynamite Tapings In May

As Double Or Nothing draws closer...

The coronavirus pandemic has caused major disruption to All Elite Wrestling and its programming. Episodes of Dynamite have been broadcast in empty arenas for a number of weeks, having been taped at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida and at QT Marshall's gym in Norcross, Georgia. The young promotion's next pay-per-view, Double Or Nothing, has also been moved from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada to an undisclosed location.

AEW has content taped for several more weeks but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the promotion plans to resume tapings on May 6 from Daily's Place. They can return to Florida after the Governor's office added "professional sports and media production" to the list of essential services in The Sunshine State.

More AEW stars will also be available for the upcoming tapings according to Meltzer. Only 30 percent of the roster was able to wrestle in Georgia, but around 60 percent will be ready by May 6 as talent from areas heavily hit by coronavirus went into quarantine earlier this week to ensure they will be able to make the tapings.
