Report: WWE WrestleMania 37 Will Be A One-Night Event

After WrestleMania 36 was too big for just one night...

The coronavirus pandemic forced WWE to move WrestleMania 36 from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida to the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The company also decided to deviate from past 'Manias and broadcast The Showcase Of The Immortals over two nights on April 4 and April 5.

The change received praise from fans, particularly those in the UK, and Triple H told Corey Graves on the After The Bell podcast that he thinks WrestleMania should be over two nights going forward.

Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that this isn't currently the plan, however, and WWE will instead revert to the show being over one night with WrestleMania 37.

Meltzer penned: "As of right now, the plan for next year is just a Sunday show in Los Angeles."

The Show Of Shows is currently scheduled to be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, but there are already doubts as to whether the event will go ahead as planned. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti told local government officials and emergency services that mass gatherings may not be approved in the city for at least one year. With this in mind, WWE has already begun researching alternative host cities.
