Kenny Omega's time in IMPACT Wrestling has possibly come to an end.

The Best Bout Machine dropped the IMPACT World Championship to Christian Cage on the August 13 edition of Rampage, ending his reign at 110 days. Omega was then not in action at IMPACT's tapings earlier this week, where the company filmed both the Emergence and Victory Road specials along with TV matches.

Now, Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Omega's commitments in IMPACT appear to be over following him losing the title.

The Belt Collector's run in IMPACT began back in December 2020 after Don Callis shockingly helped Omega defeat Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship. Before Dynamite went off the air, Callis announced both men would be on IMPACT and Omega debuted in the IMPACT Zone on December 8.

The 37-year-old enjoyed an initial seven-week run in the promotion until he main evented the Hard To Kill pay-per-view in a six-man tag team match where he pinned then IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann.

Omega would then head back to Jacksonville for a couple of months before returning to IMPACT in March. Shortly after, he defeated Rich Swann for the IMPACT World Title at Rebellion in April and Omega defended the title against Sami Callihan and Moose before dropping it to Christian Cage.
