On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, Aleister Black came to the aid of Dominik Mysterio after The Master Of The 619's son confronted Seth Rollins. Black's intervention didn't go well, however, as he was quickly overpowered by The Monday Night Messiah and his disciple Murphy. It only got worse for The Harbinger Of Fury as Rollins goaded Murphy into forcing Aleister's eye into the corner of the steel steps, possibly blinding him.
If the former NXT Champion will miss any TV time is currently unknown, but Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE's original plan for the angle was to write Black off TV.
Meltzer said: "I know the original plan for him was to take him out. I don't know for how long but that was the original idea is to do an injury angle with Aleister Black."
The situation could be similar to Rey Mysterio after he had his eye injured by Seth Rollins the night after Money In The Bank. The former World Heavyweight Champion didn't appear on Raw for a month after the storyline injury and only stepped back inside the squared circle on July 3.
