Report: Aleister Black Spotted At The WWE Performance Center

Could he be preparing for a return?

Aleister Black has been conspicuous by his absence from WWE television in recent months but the former NXT Champion has been reportedly seen at the Performance Center.

Black was last on WWE programming in October, losing a match to Kevin Owens, but has not been utilised since being drafted to Smackdown. There have been a myriad of reports that WWE have no plans creatively for the former NXT Champion, while Vince McMahon sees nothing for him in the promotion, but it was also reported that Black is recovering from some minor injuries.

PWInsider is now reporting that Black has been spotted working at the WWE Performance Center in the last few weeks as he continues to recover from his injuries. However, there is no detail as to whether Black is preparing for a return to WWE television, or if his work at the WWE PC is simply health-based.

Black's wife, Thea Trinidad (Zelina Vega) was released by WWE in November due to issues between her and the company regarding the use of third-party platforms. Reports since have suggested that Black's absence from television, however, is not to do with her departure.
