Report: Alex Zayne, Cheeseburger Still Free Agents Despite ROH Appearances

Alex Zayne and Cheeseburger still free agents

With AEW’s talent signing initiative showing no signs of slowing down, reports state that two wrestlers who have appeared on both of the relaunched ROH shows under Tony Khan’s watch are still on the free agents list.

Reports from Fightful Select suggest that both Alex Zayne and Cheeseburger/World Famous CB have not signed deals with AEW/ROH in any form, despite both performers wrestling at Supercard of Honor and Death Before Dishonor 2022.

Cheeseburger has also worked several matches for AEW: Dark, and together with Shinobi Shadow Squad partner Eli Isom worked the aforementioned ROH PPVs in 2022.

As for Alex Zayne, ‘The Sauce’ has further enhanced his reputation on the Indies and further afield in 2022, working for the likes of GCW, and IMPACT Wrestling, as well as having a well received showing in the NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 2022 Tournament, with wins over the likes of Yoshinobu Kanemaru, and SHO.

There’s no word if discussions have taken place with Cheeseburger or Zayne with AEW/ROH about some form of deal.
