Anthony Ogogo Returning To PROGRESS Wrestling

Anthony Ogogo heading back to PROGRESS

A certain Guv'nor is set to make his return to PROGRESS Wrestling.

PROGRESS announced during their show in Newcastle upon Tyne on Sunday that Anthony Ogogo will make his return to the UK promotion at their August 28 event from the Electric Ballroom in London, England. Ogogo will go one-on-one with Callum Newman.

The AEW star has performed for PROGRESS twice before, defeating Hari Singh back in January 2022 before he picked up a win over Tate Mayfairs on June 5.

Ogogo remains with All Elite Wrestling but he has not competed on TV since his feud with Cody Rhodes back in June of 2021 when he and QT Marshall defeated The American Nightmare and Lee Johnson. Ogogo took time off following that match due to needing eye surgery and he returned in December.

Since then, Ogogo has continued to perform in Tony Khan's promotion on Dark and Dark: Elevation alongside matches on the independent wrestling scene in the United States and the United Kingdom, last wrestling on the indies for Battle Slam in Atlanta on August 7.
