Report: Alexa Bliss Taking Time Off From WWE

WWE will be without one of the top stars of the Raw women's division. 

According to PWInsider, Alexa Bliss will be taking time off from WWE. Why Bliss is taking time away from the company is unknown beyond that it is not related to injury issues. It was already known that Bliss would be taking time off heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Bliss challenged Bianca Belair for the Raw Women's Championship at Royal Rumble on January 28. Bliss lost the match and a reunion with Bray Wyatt was teased following the clash in a video package from Uncle Howdy. This came after weeks of teases with Uncle Howdy on Monday Night Raw. Bliss was previously aligned with The Fiend before turning on Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 37. 

Bliss isn't currently advertised for Elimination Chamber, which suggests she will be away from WWE until after the February 18 pay-per-view in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 

Bliss had been a constant on WWE TV since her return after WrestleMania 38. She had another reign as a WWE Women's Tag Team Champion during her latest run.
