Report: Alexa Bliss Voices Frustration With WWE Creative

Alexa Bliss frustrated in WWE

After months away from WWE TV, Alexa Bliss returned to the company in early 2022, appearing in several therapy vignettes before she made her in-ring return at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February.

Bliss disappeared from WWE TV immediately after the show in Saudi Arabia, though, and this reportedly led to the former Raw Women's Champion becoming frustrated with WWE creative.

According to Fightful Select, there was "no substantial creative direction" for Alexa immediately after Elimination Chamber and Bliss "voiced her displeasure" following the February pay-per-view about her lack of creative, particularly as she had previously been out of action for several months. The word backstage was that Bliss voiced her frustration to Vince McMahon.

Pitches were made for Bliss to be involved in the Raw Women's Title match at WrestleMania 38 between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair but those ideas were quickly shot down and it was determined by late February that the former Women's Tag Team Champion would not be in action at The Showcase Of The Immortals.

The lack of creative for Bliss also appears to have been a late decision by WWE, with it being noted the "priority of booking Bliss shifted significantly" after the therapy vignettes ended.

When exactly Bliss will return is currently unclear and the 30-year-old is currently on her honeymoon.
