Rhea Ripley Turns Heel On WWE Raw

Rhea Ripley goes back to being a heel on WWE Raw

A heel turn took place on Monday's edition of Raw from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan challenged Sasha Banks and Naomi for the Women's Tag Team Championships on the show, but the challengers failed to pick up the win and Banks and Naomi retained the gold after seven minutes after hitting their tag team finisher on Ripley.

After the match, The Nightmare demanded to know where her tag team partner had been during the finish, blaming her for the loss.

Morgan went to walk away but Ripley suddenly attacked her from behind and she laid into Liv before finishing her assault with a Riptide.

Ripley's heel turn was initially teased on the Raw after WrestleMania following her and Morgan's loss to Banks and Naomi in a non-title match. The former NXT Women's Champion walked out on her partner following that match but everything appeared to be fine later in the show when Ripley hugged Morgan and revealed she had got them a title match from Adam Pearce.

Ripley initially debuted on the main roster as a heel ahead of WrestleMania 37 but she turned babyface a few months later, winning the Women's Tag Team Titles with Nikki A.S.H following SummerSlam 2021.
