Report: All WWE Programming Through WrestleMania 36 Being Taped Over Coming Days

Yes, even WrestleMania...

So it's come to this: a WrestleMania in which the matches are all recorded in advance.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that beginning today, Saturday, March 21, and going through Thursday, March 26, all WWE programming for the next couple of weeks will be taped at WWE's Performance Center in Orlando, including the annual "Showcase of The Immortals".

Johnson lists the following as the taping schedule:

*Saturday, March 21: WWE SmackDown episodes for March 27 and April 3

*Sunday: March 22: Taping content for future episodes of NXT

*Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 24: Monday Night Raw episodes for March 23 and March 30

*Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26: Both nights of WrestleMania 36

WWE has also scheduled tapings at "closed sets" for WrestleMania 36, so there many be additional taping dates beyond what's taking place at the Performance Center over the coming week.

This marks the first time that a major WWE pay-per-view is taped in advance since 1992, when that year's SummerSlam took place at London's Wembley Stadium, and aired on tape delay two days later in the United States.
