Report: Andrade El Idolo Wants To Work AAA Dates
Andrade reportedly wants to work in AAA
Andrade El Idolo recently returned to the ring following a suspension and injury, becoming one of the central focuses of the brand new AEW Collision show, where he has embarked on a feud with the AEW World Trios Champions, The House of Black.
It may not just be AEW where fans will be seeing Andrade though, as Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Andrade is interested in working matches in AAA.
“Andrade has expressed interest in working here (AAA). Tony Khan has given him the okay to work if he wants on dates he’s not booked with New Japan (which years ago wanted to make him their Mil Mascaras-like masked high-flying superstar before he went to WWE) or CMLL although right now we don’t know of him working in any of those places.”
Andrade has previously worked just two matches in AAA, facing off with Kenny Omega in 2021 for the AAA Mega Championship, and later in 2022 when he teamed up with Deonna Purrazzo & Cibernetico to take on the trio of Bandido, Pagano, and Taya Valkyrie.
