Report: Another Executive Departs WWE

Another name leaves the company...

It has been a somewhat tumultuous year for WWE's management team. Co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson were both fired in January. The company has since appointed Nick Khan as president & chief revenue officer and Kristina Salen as chief financial officer.

WWE headquarters received a shake-up over the past few weeks and long-standing executives Mark Kowal, John Brody and Brian Nurse all departed the company.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has now reported that WWE Senior Vice President for Data Strategy Pam Murrin left the company last week. She had been with WWE since March 2016.

A source within the company noted the recent departures were likely part of a "changing of the guard" following the new additions to the management team.

In regards to Murrin specifically, the same source pointed out to Johnson that Vince McMahon has distanced himself from the importance of analytics since George Barrios was fired. The former co-president believed data mining from the WWE Network and other revenue streams would help the company evolve.
