Report: Another Former NXT Star Could Be Set For WWE Return

WWE have brought back several former NXT stars in recent weeks

It seems as though Triple H isn’t finished getting the band back together, as reports suggest another former NXT star could be set to make their return to WWE.

Since Triple H took over WWE creative former NXT stars Johnny Gargano, Dexter Lumis, Hit Row, and Dakota kai have all made their returns to WWE, and a report from Andrew Zarian on We’re Live Pal suggests Triple H could be looking to bring Bronson Reed - aka JONAH - back to WWE:

“I’ve heard one name over the last few weeks and that’s Jonah,” said Zarian. “Great G1 [Climax], I talked to a friend over there casually in Connecticut… he’s a name. Bronson Reed got the s*** end of the stick with his positioning. He’s very good, he has the size, he had this awesome entrance with the background. I don’t know him at all personally. I don’t know if anything behind the scenes that happened, anything beyond that, but I can tell you there are people very interested in him because of his talent, his performance in the G1. He’s a name that people are interested in. I don’t know what his deal is, but he has come up as a name that I’ve heard.”

Since being released by WWEin Summer 2021, JONAH has wrestled across the indies, including matches in PWG and IMPACT Wrestling, but has had his best showings in New Japan, where the Mighty Don’t Kneel heavyweight managed a win over Kazuchika Okada in the recent G1 Climax 32 Tournament.
