Nick Aldis To Address NWA At NWA 74 PPV

Nick Aldis has been vocal with his criticism of NWA management

The issues between nNick Aldis and NWA have only gotten worse in recent months, with the former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion clashing with NWA management on several occasions.

After being pulled from the NWA 74 PPV on August 27 and 28, NWA have now revealed that Aldis will indeed appear on the show, and will address the NWA in an open forum.

Aldis will kick off the PPV with his address, and it remains to be seen if the ‘National Treasure’ will wrestle at the event, after being pulled from his scheduled World’s Heavyweight Title shot against Champ Trevor Murdoch, and replaced with Tyrus.

Aldis and NWA President Billy Corgan have gone back and forth over social media and through the wrestling media, with Aldis irritated by how management are running the company, whilst Corgan believes Aldis has constantly positioned himself above the NWA to the detriment of the brand.

The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer revealed the angle between the two sides is a work, but could be based in reality, and it looks like we’ll have to wait until NWA 74 to find out more.
