Matches Announced For August 31 AEW: Dynamite
Two matches set for AEW Dynamite - All Out week
Next week sees AEW head to Chicago for three shows from the NOW Arena, with Dynamite, Rampage, and All out scheduled for The Windy City on August 31, September 2, and September 4.
Heading into All Out week - and hot off the tails of a packed AEW Dynamite on August 24 - AEW have announced two matches for the August 21 edition of AEW Dynamite.
With ‘Lionheart’ Chris Jericho challenging ‘The American Dragon’ Bryan Danielson to a match at All Out, Jericho made sure to get the first blow, as The Jericho Appreciation Society’s heavy hitter Jake Hager bumrushed Danielson and beat him down during an in-ring segment on August 24.
After this it was confirmed that Danielson would be taking on Hager in singles action next week - the sixth singles meeting between the two during their careers, and first in AEW, with Danielson enjoying a 4-1 record against Hager heading into the bout.
With AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa unable to compete at All out, it was announced that a four-way will take place to crown an Interim Champion, with Toni Storm, Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida set to fight for the title. Ahead of All out, the four will meet in tag team action, as Storm and Shida will take on the established team of Baker and Hayter.
