John Morrison Shares His Thoughts On John Laurinaitis

No 'future endeavours', Mr. Ace?

Former WWE star John Morrison has shared his thoughts on the recently-departed John Laurinaitis.

Speaking with Steve Fall of NBC Sports Boston, Morrison said the following about his dealings with the former WWE Head of Talent Relations:

"They didn't even say ‘best of luck in your future endeavours'. I thought that he said that to people. I didn't get that out of (John) Laurinaitis. I wonder if someone said that to him [laughs]. I didn't love him or hate him".

"I thought he had a very tough job. I didn't realise what he was doing behind the scenes. In retrospect, that's pretty messed up. He has to deal with that and he created his own problems".

Morrison was released by WWE on November 18, 2021, just two weeks after his wife Taya Valkyrie (who wrestled for NXT as Franky Monet) was also cut.

Laurinaitis was 'quietly let go' by the company earlier this month, after his name was tied into the allegations of sexual misconduct and non-disclosure payments surrounding Vince McMahon.
