Report: Another Match To Be Announced For AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door

A new match will be added to the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on Friday's episode of Rampage.

PWInsider reported that Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland will take on Suzuki-gun's El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru at Forbidden Door. That match will be officially announced during Rampage on Friday.

Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland have been teaming together in recent months but tensions between the pair have been teased since they unsuccessfully challenged for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Double Or Nothing on May 29. 

El Desperado, meanwhile, has appeared on recent editions of AEW Dynamite along with other NJPW stars ahead of June 26.

Multiple matches were officially added to the Forbidden Door card on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite, including the IWGP World Heavyweight Title match that will see champion Jay White defend the gold against Hangman Page, Adam Cole, and Kazuchika Okada. The Dudes With Attitudes - the new team of Sting, Darby Allin, Shingo Takagi, and Hiromu Takahashi - will also square off with The Young Bucks, El Phantasmo, and Hikuleo when Matt and Nick Jackson rejoin Bullet Club for one night only.
