Tomohiro Ishii Pulled From AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door Due To Injury

Ishii was set to compete for the All-Atlantic title

NJPW star Tomohiro Ishii will no longer compete at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, due to sustaining a knee injury in New Japan's All-Atlantic title qualifying match, according to a statement released Thursday.

Clark Connors, the man who Ishii defeated in the qualifying bracket, will now compete in the four way match on Sunday to crown the first ever AEW All-Atlantic champion, taking on Miro, Pac, and Malakai Black.

The card for AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door, taking place this Sunday, June 26, at The United Center in Chicago, is as follows:

* Interim AEW World: Jon Moxley vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

* IWGP World: Jay White (c) vs. Adam Page vs. Kazuchika Okada vs. Adam Cole

* AEW All-Atlantic: Pac vs. Miro vs. Malakai Black vs. Clark Connors

* AEW Women's: Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Toni Storm

* IWGP United States: Will Ospreay (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

* Zack Sabre Jr vs. ???

* Winner Take All: FTR (ROH Tag Team) vs. Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb (IWGP Tag Team) vs. Roppongi Vice

* Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Minoru Suzuki vs. Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta, and Shota Umino

* The Young Bucks, Hikuleo, and El Phantasmo vs. Sting, Darby Allin, Shingo Takagi, and Hiromu Takahashi
