Report: April 29 Episode Of WWE SmackDown To Be Taped

A taped SmackDown for April 29

WWE will soon embark on their latest European tour and this has affected the company's plans for Friday Night SmackDown.

WWE have traditionally taped an episode of SmackDown in Europe, but that won't be the case in April.

According to Fightful Select, the company will instead tape the April 29 edition of SmackDown on Friday in Albany, New York following that night's live episode.

There is no word on why WWE decided not to tape SmackDown in Europe this time around.

The organisation's european tour is set to begin on Thursday, April 28 with a show from the Utilita Arena in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The tour will then head to London on April 29 before shows in Paris, France, and Leipzig, Germany on April 30 and May 1.

The SmackDown brand will primarily be featured on the shows and matches at the various live events include Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley, RK-Bro vs. The Usos, and Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship.

Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey will also be in action at the London and Paris events.
