Report: Asuka Listed As Top Heel On WWE SmackDown

Following her turn on the May 12 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Asuka is listed as the top female heel on the blue brand, according to a report from PWInsider Elite. 

In an updated depth chart from WWE, Asuka is at the top of the pile for heels, ahead of Bayley, Lacey Evans, Scarlett, B-Fab, and Tamina. Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair tops the babyface side of the SmackDown depth chart, followed by Charlotte Flair, Shotzi, Zelina Vega, Mia Yim, and Aliyah. 

Asuka turned heel on last week's SmackDown, spoiling Bianca Belair's celebration of her latest successful Raw Women's Title defence at Backlash. After initially having time to revel in her latest title defence in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, Belair ended the segment covered in green mist after being suckered in by a false handshake offer from Asuka.

Belair and Asuka previously faced off for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 39, with Belair coming out on top on that occasion. April 12 was Asuka's first appearance on WWE TV since the Showcase of the Immortals.
