A working relationship was seemingly forged between IMPACT Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling during last night's edition of Dynamite. IMPACT Executive Vice President Don Callis helped Kenny Omega cheat to win the AEW World Championship and the duo then fled Daily's Place like scolded dogs. Alex Marvez caught up to The Cleaner and Callis just before they got in their car and the former Jackyl told the interviewer everyone can find out what just happened on next week's IMPACT.

The angle gave the impression that IMPACT Wrestling had stolen the AEW World Championship, calling back to the Montreal Screwjob. Callis even tweeted: "@AEW screwed @AEW. Hear all about it this tuesday on @IMPACTWRESTLING on @AXSTV. Thanks for the invite @TonyKhan."

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Callis' on-air partnership with Kenny Omega "has been in the works for a while" and "everything and anything is possible" when it comes to the relationship between IMPACT and AEW.

Meltzer said: "The Callis thing has been in the works for a while... It is gonna be some sort of promotional thing and the promotions are going to be working together to a degree... Everything and anything is possible. How it's gonna go I don't know but it's all possible because the sides are working together. But, yeah, it is of great benefit, incredible benefit to IMPACT."
