WWE announced they had signed Priscilla Kelly, Elayna Black and Lacey Ryan yesterday and all three women will be featured on the black and gold brand. They each received new names and Ryan will be known as Zoey Stark, Kelly will be called Gigi Dolan and Black has been named Cora Jade.
The signings seemed to come out of nowhere, but WWE had been interested in signing the three women for some time, according to Fightful Select.
Fightful noted they were told as far back as November that WWE was interested in adding Kelly, Black and Ryan to the roster and had been trying to find out about their contract status.
Ryan and Black attended a WWE tryout in October and sources within the company believed they were almost guaranteed to sign on the dotted line following the event. The company's interest in Kelly stretches back further, though, and WWE has reportedly had their eye on her for "quite some time."
Fans won't have to wait long to see all three women in action. Kelly is scheduled to team with Black in the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, while Ryan will team with Marina Shafir.
