Report: Backstage Reaction To Confrontation Between CM Punk & Jack Perry At AEW All In

Other AEW wrestlers weren't happy about the backstage altercation between CM Punk and Jack Perry at All In

The issues between Jack Perry and CM Punk resurfaced again backstage at AEW All In on Sunday as there was a backstage altercation between the two wrestlers between Perry's Zero Hour match with HOOK and CM Punk's PPV match with Samoa Joe.

There are differing accounts about what exactly happened and Tony Khan revealed during the post-All In media scrum that AEW are investigating the incident. Following the altercation, Jack Perry was ordered to leave Wembley Stadium. CM Punk was reportedly escorted to his dressing room by security following the match with Samoa Joe and the two-time AEW World Champion was also removed from Wembley Stadium.

With the altercation taking place at the biggest show in AEW history, it didn't exactly go down well with the AEW locker room. PWInsider has reported that "there were quite a few upset" about the incident over fears that it could potentially upstage everything that AEW accomplished with All In.

It ended up having a positive effect on some in the locker room, as it "lit a fire" under them and made them want to work harder in their matches to ensure All In was about the company and not CM Punk and Jack Perry. Some in the locker room didn't blame either Punk or Perry, while others blamed both of them for what happened.

Bryan Alvarez concurred on Wrestling Observer Radio that there was a lot of people upset over the altercation within AEW.

If CM Punk and Jack Perry will be reprimanded over what happened is unknown.
