Report: Backstage Reaction To WWE Night Of Champions Revealed

Another positive night for WWE

WWE held their latest pay-per-view on Saturday, May 27 as Night of Champions aired from the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The show featured a number of high profile matches and angles as Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles to become World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar forced a one-armed Cody Rhodes to pass out, and Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens succesfully defended ther Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa after The Usos turned on the Tribal Chief. 

The reaction to the show has been positive and PWInsider Elite has reported that WWE are "extremely happy" with how Night of Champions went. The event set a new record for merchandise sales in Saudi Arabia and it was the most-watched Saudi pay-per-view to date, surpassing 2022's Crown Jewel by 18 percent. 

It was smiles all round in WWE as officials were said to be happy with NXT Battleground, which took place on Sunday, May 28 and went head-to-head with AEW Double or Nothing.
