Report: Bayley Pulled From WWE Raw After WrestleMania 39 At The Last Minute

Creative for the Raw after WrestleMania 39 was ultimately a mess on Monday, April 3 after Vince McMahon was once again back in charge of the creative process in the company, with the 77-year-old reportedly holding the final say over any creative matters moving forward.

Having reasserted his control of WWE creative, McMahon ordered last-minute rewrites to Raw and this affected the company's plans for one star in particular in Bayley. Fightful Select reported that Bayley was scheduled to be on the show to accompany her Damage CTRL faction mates Dakota Kai and IYO SKY to the ring but she was suddenly cut from Raw at the last minute. 

Why Bayley was pulled from Raw is unknown but there has been speculation about her WWE future after she tweeted: "And sometimes the most romantic love story comes to an end. Bye." 

Bayley was also not mentioned on commentary during Kai and SKY's match against Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. It should be noted that Vince McMahon rejected Damage CTRL in 2022 while he was still in charge of WWE creative, with the faction only coming into existence after Triple H became Chief Content Officer in July of last year.
