Report: Bayley Yet To Re-Sign with WWE

Bayley has yet to sign a new deal with WWE amidst speculation about her long-term future in professional wrestling, but WWE have noted to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that the multi-time WWE Women's Champion "has a decision to make."

Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio: "The only thing I've heard from them when it comes to Bayley is that Bayley has a decision to make. So that's the story, Bayley has a decision to make. She has not signed a contract. When she signs a contract, I'm sure she'll be back on TV. If she doesn't sign - I think they're doing the same thing that Tony [Khan] does or has done, but I think the situation with her is if she signs a contract, she'll probably come back and attack Lyra, and that'll be her storyline. And if she doesn't sign, she doesn't come back and the Madison Square Garden thing was her write-off."

Bayley has been absent from WWE TV since she was written off in a post-match attack from Lyra Valkyria at the July 18 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, which took place after Valkyria defeated her former tag team partner in a singles match. Bayley has worked two house shows since then, although she hasn't wrestled at all since July 26.

Bayley has been a part of WWE since 2012, but reports have noted her contract with the company is expected to be up by the end of 2026 unless injury time is added to the deal. The expectation is WWE will want to re-sign Bayley, but she will also receive interest from All Elite Wrestling.

Bayley recently teased she could be AEW-bound, which may have just been her trolling, as she posted a training video on Instagram while 'All In' by The Grouch & Eligh played in the background. All In is the name of All Elite Wrestling's upcoming pay-per-view.
