Report: Becky Lynch Films Supporting Role For Happy Gilmore 2

While it remains to be seen whether Becky Lynch will make her WWE return on tonight's edition of Raw, the former Women's Champion will be showing up on Netflix sooner or later.

PWInsider reported that Lynch has filmed a supporting role in the film Happy Gilmore 2, which will be released by the streaming giant later this year.

While the exact nature of Becky's role is being kept under wraps, PWInsider claimed that she is believed to be part of a group of rival golfers that will also feature former American football star Reggie Bush.

Lynch will not be the only wrestling personality in the film, as AEW's MJF also has a part in it as one of Happy Gilmore's sons. WWE celebrity wrestler Bad Bunny, meanwhile, has also filmed a role.

Lynch is expected to make her WWE return in the near future and reportedly attended a WWE media event at Netflix headquarters on December 3. Away from wrestling, the 37-year-old has more acting work lined up, having joined the cast of the Paramount Plus series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.
