Report: Becky Lynch's WWE Contract Set To Expire In 2024

Becky Lynch's WWE deal is up next year

A top star's contract is set to expire next year.

According to Fightful Select, Becky Lynch's deal with WWE is slated to expire in June 2024 and both parties have yet to begin negotiations over a new contract, although that is not unusual since her current arrangement has over a year to run.

Lynch reportedly inked a new three-year deal with WWE when she returned to the company at SummerSlam. Lynch has since had reigns as SmackDown and Raw women's champion, as well as one reign with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships alongside Lita and Trish Stratus.

There was speculation about Lynch's future after she tweeted on Monday that she would not be at Raw on April 17 and changed her Twitter display name to her real name, Rebecca Quin. It has since been noted, though, that Lynch missed the show as a minor foot injury she had been dealing with had worsened. Lynch is currently feuding with Trish Stratus after the WWE Hall of Famer turned on her last week.

Lynch's deal isn't the only contract expiring in 2024 and Fightful noted there are several deals up next year as much of the roster was signed to four-year contracts in 2020. This came at a time when WWE were looking to tie down talent following the founding of All Elite Wrestling in 2019.

What the future holds for Lynch is unknown but acting opportunities are available to her. She was set to appear in an Eternals post-credits scene but Lynch's debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was ultimately scrapped.
