Over the last few months there have been several reported matches pitches for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, though there hasn’t been too much on Rhea Ripley’s potential opponent for the show. It was originally slated that she’d be facing Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship, but this match ended up taking place on RAW’s Netflix debut instead, as Ripley finally defeated Morgan to win back the gold she never lost.
Fightful Select have reported that discussions have taken place for a match between reigning Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and one half of the current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair, which has been a hugely anticipated matchup amongst both themselves and fans.
They have seldom come face to face on the WWE main roster, having just one singles match all the way back at an NXT TakeOver event in 2020. Belair and Ripley have often met in singles matches, with WWE putting a big spotlight on these moments whenever they do interact. Over on the WWE Women’s Championship side, a match between Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton has reportedly been discussed.
