Report: Bobby Fish Works Behind-The-Scenes In WWE

Bobby Fish working in WWE NXT

Bobby Fish is back with WWE, at least for a brief spell.

Fightful Select have reported that Fish was backstage at NXT's recent live events and he has served as a guest coach for the developmental brand. If Fish will be sticking around in WWE is currently unknown, though.

The 45-year-old was previously a part of All Elite Wrestling but he exited Tony Khan's promotion at the end of August when his contract expired. Fish then resurfaced in IMPACT Wrestling and was even booed in his hometown at the recent Bound For Glory pay-per-view. He agreed to work for the promotion through at least the post-Bound For Glory TV tapings where he lost an IMPACT World Title match to Josh Alexander.

Fish was previously an in-ring talent on WWE NXT from 2017 until his release in August 2021, spending much of his time as part of Undisputed ERA with Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong.

Also backstage at recent NXT live events was Anthony Greene, who performed in WWE as August Grey in 2020 and 2021. Both he and Fish are said to be on very good terms with WWE.
