Report: Braun Strowman Meets With Impact Official

Strowman was released from WWE in June

Adam Scherr, the man formerly known as Braun Strowman, reportedly met with Impact Wrestling Executive Vice President Scott D'Amore this weekend, according to a story from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

Johnson's report claims that the two men met at the Motor City Comic Con in Detroit on Saturday night. The report notes, "We are told the two were sitting for a long time with Scherr arriving to meet D'Amore, who was waiting for him."

Impact Bound For Glory takes place this Saturday night at Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas. Johnson's report goes on to say that Impact has been working on "several surprises" for the event.

There is no word on any sort of deal between Scherr and Impact at this time.

Scherr was released from WWE on June 2, weeks after wrestling for the WWE title at WrestleMania Backlash. He was part of a spate of cuts that included Malakai Black, Ruby Soho, and Buddy Matthews.

Scherr recently made his return to the ring, defeating EC3 at Free the Narrative, which was released on October 1.
