Report: Bray Wyatt Misses WWE's Madison Square Garden House Show

Bray Wyatt wasn't at WWE's MSG house show despite being advertised

In something that could develop into a bigger story, Bray Wyatt missed WWE's house show from New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, March 12. Wyatt was scheduled to face LA Knight in a Lights Out Street Fight but the former Universal Champion was replaced by Braun Strowman.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he doesn't know why Wyatt missed the show despite being advertised.

"No, Braun Strowman replaced him. They had the MSG show and [I] do not know more about it other than he wasn't there. Wasn't on SmackDown either," Meltzer said.

Wyatt is currently in his second run with WWE, having returned to the organisation in October 2022. He is currently involved in a feud with Bobby Lashley ahead of WrestleMania 39. Wyatt hasn't wrestled since a Road to WrestleMania house show on February 26 where he defeated LA Knight in a Lights Out Street Fight.

Matches that did take place inside Madison Square Garden saw Austin Theory retain his United States Title in a Steel Cage Match against Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes defeat Solo Sikoa by DQ, and GUNTHER successfully defend the Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet after The One and Only won a Battle Royal.
