Scott D'Amore Promoted To President Of IMPACT Wrestling

Scott D'Amore has received a promotion within IMPACT Wrestling amidst a shakeup of the promotion's parent company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment Inc. 

It was announced today that Anthem's sports properties - which includes IMPACT Wrestling - have been reorganised under Anthem Sports Group Inc. (ASG) and Richard Schaefer has been appointed as the operating group's president. Scott D'Amore has been promoted to President of IMPACT Wrestling, having been an Executive Vice President with the promotion since 2018. 

Anthem Sports Group have also brought in former WWE executive Lou D'Angeli as Vice President of Marketing. They will oversee all aspects of marketing, advertising, promotion, and public relations for ASG. Mike Pine & Talon Partnerships have been retained by ASG to focus on "securing sponsorships and new revenue initiatives for IMPACT" and the group's other properties, which include INVICTA FC and the Fight Network. 

Chief Corporate Officer of Anthem and former President of IMPACT Wrestling Ed Nordholm said about D'Amore's promotion: "Scott has established himself as the leader of IMPACT Wrestling since joining us in 2018, re-establishing the promotion as one of the finest professional wrestling promotions in the world."
