Report: Brian Kendrick Not At WWE Raw After Working Survivor Series WarGames

Kendrick acted as a backstage producer at Survivor Series WarGames

Ex-WWE star Brian Kendrick returned to the company at this past weekend's Survivor Series, working backstage in his former role as a producer.

Kendrick (alongside Jason Jordan) helped put together the WWE SmackDown Women's Title match between Ronda Rousey and Shotzi on the show.

PWInsider has provided an update on Kendrick's status, noting that he was not backstage at last night's Raw taping, following what they dubbed a 'tryout' at Survivor Series.

It is unknown at this time what Kendrick's status with WWE is or if he will be offered a permanent position moving forward. Prospective producers are typically trialled over the course of a few weeks as the company assess their suitability.

Kendrick asked for and eventually received his release from WWE on February 1 of this year. It was his third spell with the company, having signed in 2016. the former WWE Tag Team and Cruiserweight Champion previously worked for WWE between 2003-04 and 2005-09.

On the same day as his release, it was announced that Kendrick was scheduled to make his in-ring debut for All Elite Wrestling (against Jon Moxley) on the following night's episode of Dynamite.

However, the match was pulled from the card when past controversial comments made by Kendrick were brought to the attention of AEW owner Tony Khan.
