Tony Schiavone Shares Disdain For DQ Finishes

AEW's Tony Schiavone didn't pull any punches when giving his opinion on DQ finishes...

On a recent edition of What Happened When with Conrad Thompson, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone shared his dislike for DQ finishes in wrestling matches, specifically those which result in a big brawl afterwards. He explained:

"That's a storytelling device. You can still have a finish in your match and then move on with the storytelling device after the finish. I never liked f*** finish DQs. F*** finish DQs is f***ing the fans. You don't want to f*** the fans. You can only f*** them so many times."

He also went on to note that regardless of the decisions a promotion makes, there'll always be a section of fans left unhappy.

"You can't please everybody. Sometimes, a group of fans are going to feel like they've been f***ed over. A lot of times, a group of fans are waiting to be f***ed over, and they live for that so they can s*** on you, and s*** on your promotion, and s*** on this podcast - and that's what they do because they are miserable f***s."

H/T to Fightful.
