Report: Brock Lesnar Signed On For 8 - 12 WWE Dates

The Beast Incarnate made his surprise return at SummerSlam

After his surprise return at SummerSlam 2021 last weekend, it is being reported that Brock Lesnar is signed on for ‘eight to twelve’ appearances for WWE going forward.

The report, per Wrestling Observer Radio, stated that the appearances are for matches only and does not concern appearances on WWE television. This comes after Fightful Select’s report last week that stated Lesnar was set for at least eight matches across a new 18-month deal.

Other reports emerged last week claiming that Lesnar’s return was very last minute, and was possibly WWE’s reaction to AEW signing CM Punk. As for the plans going forward, it seems as though Lesnar will be in a babyface role going after heel Universal Champion Roman Reigns, with a title showdown likely to take place at Saudi Arabia’s Crown Jewel in October, or Survivor Series in November.

Since his return to WWE in 2012, Lesnar has mainly operated as a heel, with a couple of moments in a tweener role. Lesnar hasn’t been a fully-blown babyface since 2002.
