Report: Brock Lesnar To Be Off WWE TV 'For A While'

Brock Lesnar will be gone from WWE for a little while

While Brock Lesnar was advertised for WWE's Fastlane pay-per-view, the former Universal Champion won't be in action at that show and it appears Lesnar won't be back on WWE TV for the remainder of 2023.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Brock Lesnar will be off TV "for a while."

"Brock was originally advertised on one of the pay-per-views later this year but he's not gonna be on it. He's gonna be gone for a while. No time soon as far as the next four months or something like that. He's not going to be on anything at that point. He'll be back for Mania season. He is coming back," Meltzer said.

Brock Lesnar has appeared fairly regularly on WWE TV in 2023 and the 46-year-old has had six matches this year. Lesnar had been in a feud with Cody Rhodes since the Raw after WrestleMania 39 and Rhodes won their rubber match at the August 5 pay-per-view. Lesnar endorsed Rhodes following the match, raising the American Nightmare's arm.

This led to speculation that Lesnar could be retiring but that doesn't appear to be the case.
