Bobby Lashley won't be going one on one with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam if WWE sticks with their early plans.

The Biggest Party Of The Summer is scheduled to take place on August 21 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and Brock Lesnar's return was brought up in WWE's early discussions around the event.

If The Beast Incarnate does return at SummerSlam ultimately remains to be seen, but Lesnar vs. Lashley was not listed on the SummerSlam card as of late May, according to Dave Meltzer. Some in WWE would actually prefer not to bring Lesnar back until they can set up a feud with Roman Reigns.

"As of a week ago, Lesnar and Lashley was not on [the SummerSlam card]. Now, it can always change. They can always call him. They can always offer him money, he will do it. Again, it's up to Vince but they had not made the call a week ago. And I know there's forces there that don't want Lesnar there until it's a feud with Reigns," Meltzer said on Sunday Night's Main Event.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley has been a match many fans and Lashley himself have been hoping WWE will book for years, but the two men have yet to go one on one.
