Report: Bryan Danielson To Potentially Miss AEW X NJPW Forbidden Door

Bryan Danielson has been out of action since the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on May 29 but he is scheduled to return on tonight's episode of AEW Dynamite and address the upcoming Forbidden Door show and Blood & Guts. 

Danielson's promo might not be good news, though, as Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that while not confirmed, the impression he was given is Danielson has not been cleared to perform and might be on the shelf for a while. 

"The impression that I was given as of today is that he is not cleared and he might not be cleared for a while. He could show up tomorrow and they announce the match and he does it with Zack Sabre Jr. But at this point, I'm thinking that the match is not going to take place and I'm also thinking that he may not be doing Blood & Guts. But that is not confirmed," Alvarez said. 

Zack Sabre Jr. recently challenged Danielson to a match at Forbidden Door so they can determine who the best technical wrestler in the world is. Both men have faced off previously, but not since March 2009.
