Report: Chad Gable Staying With WWE

WWE set to re-sign Chad Gable

Chad Gable isn't going anywhere.

It emerged in recent weeks that Gable's deal with WWE was set to expire on June 7 but he has remained on WWE TV since Friday. It was even announced ahead of the end of his contract that Gable would challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship at Clash at the Castle on Saturday, June 15.

Whether Gable has officially re-signed is unknown but Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Gable is either extremely close or has agreed to terms on a new deal with WWE and he will be remaining with the company. All parties are working under the belief that Gable isn't leaving.

Ibou of WrestlePurists also reported that Gable was "staying" with WWE, while Fightful Select noted that "most" expect the former Raw Tag Team Champion to remain with the organisation.

Chad Gable has been a part of WWE since 2013 and he has been a featured talent on Monday Night Raw in recent years as part of Alpha Academy, as both a tag team and singles wrestler.

There was reportedly interest in Gable from All Elite Wrestling to the point there was talent pushing for him to join the promotion. The 38-year-old will be sticking with WWE, however.
