Stipulation Added To Drew McIntyre's WWE Clash At The Castle Match
Stipulation added to WWE Clash at the Castle main event
Jun 11, 2024
A stipulation has been added to Drew McIntyre vs. Damian Priest at WWE Clash at the Castle.
McIntyre is set to challenge Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday night's pay-per-view. 'Irn Dru' was in action in the main event of Monday's episode of Raw against Finn Balor, with McIntyre ultimately winning the match after 12 minutes. As a result of McIntyre's win on Raw, Judgment Day are banned from ringside for the main event of Clash at the Castle.
McIntyre was able to goad Damian Priest into adding stakes to the Raw main event earlier in the show by telling the World Heavyweight Champion that Judgment Day was the only reason he had a chance of winning on Saturday night.
McIntyre and Priest have been feuding on WWE TV in recent weeks ever since it was announced they would face off at Clash at the Castle. Damian Priest defeated Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40 after Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract. The cash-in took place only minutes after McIntyre had defeated Seth Rollins for the gold and only moments after he was beaten down by CM Punk following the match.
Speaking exclusively to Cultaholic Wrestling, McIntyre warned CM Punk it would be a mistake for him to appear at Clash at the Castle.
Clash at the Castle will emanate from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday, June 15. The show will get underway at 7 pm BST/ 2 pm ET.
